IGS has been leading whitewater raft trips on the Salmon River for over 40 years. We can offer a variety of options to fit your vacation schedule. Our one day trips take place in Riggins, Idaho. This run offers class III/IV rapids that will keep you entertained all day. Double your fun and add beach camping to your trip with our overnight excursion. This canyon trip offers class III?IV rapids with stunning white beaches perfect for a game of beach bocce. If you are looking for a full adventure, the Lower Salmon Gorge four and five day trip will fulfill your summer vacation rafting dream. This exciting class III/IV whitewater section offers plenty of time to fish, hike, and swim. The trip ends in Hells Canyon on the Snake River. Raft out or ask about the option to jet boat to Pittsburg Landing. Call our office for information and dates.

- 1 & 2 Day Trip: A minimum of 10 guests needed to run this trip.

- For multi-day trips, pack light, practical, and quick-drying gear. You’ll need sturdy shoes that can get wet (running shoes or light hikers), several pairs of socks, quick-dry clothing, warm layers (fleece or wool), a rain jacket, sleepwear, and a hat for sun protection. Bring sunscreen, lip balm with SPF, toiletries, personal medications, a quick-dry towel, and insect repellent. A reusable water bottle, flashlight with extra batteries, and small bags to organize wet and dry items are also recommended. Total personal gear should be kept to about 15–20 lbs.
- Tip: Synthetic or wool clothing works best—cotton stays cold when wet.

- Yes. Glass containers are not allowed, and we recommend leaving valuables at home. Radios, firearms, pets, and non-waterproof watches are not permitted. Expensive cameras, binoculars, or electronics are discouraged, as they are not insured against loss or damage. Please pack efficiently, as space on the rafts is limited.
