I would like to thank you for your excellent service in outfitting our trip down the Murtaugh section of the Snake last Saturday. I must confess that even though most of our party were experienced boaters, I was somewhat apprehensive about running the Murtaugh class four and five rapids at 4000 cfs. I wasn’t sure it could be done safely in a raft at those flows. You and your guides soon proved me wrong and instilled total confidence in your ability to handle such technical water. Besides being safe, the trip was downright fun, “too much fun to be legal” as one member of our group pointed out. Running a ten foot ledge drop in a raft is truly the thrill of a lifetime. The trip ranked as one of the most interesting and exciting I have taken in twenty years of boating. The whitewater and scenery are outstanding, the canyon is spectacular. Thank you for the excellent cuisine as well as your informative comments on the history and geography of the canyon. You’re right, it is an “Urban Wilderness”. Best of luck in your efforts to preserve it. I will definitely be back for more.
